Use and Care Instructions for GREEK QuanTanium® Non-stick Cookware.

Sensible care will help your new cookware last for years and years. These simple steps will help you get the most pleasure and use from it:

  1. Before first use, wash cookware in warm, soapy water, rinse, then dry thoroughly.
  2. Always use low or medium heat when cooking food. This helps to preserve the nutrients in food (many of which are fragile and easily damaged when heated to extremes). It also helps preserve the non-stick surface.
  3. Use nylon or wooden tools. Never use a knife or utensil with a sharp point or edge to cut or pierce food in the pan.
  4. Never heat fat or oil to the extent that it smokes, burns or turns black.
  5. Do not use cookware as a food storage container, as this could encourage staining. It is better to keep cookware clean when not in use.
  6. Always allow cookware to cool before immersing in water.
  7. To keep your new cookware looking good and performing well, we recommend that you hand wash in hot soapy water.
  8. If through misuse, burned residue collects on the surface, it can usually be removed with warm water and a mild detergent. In extreme cases, such residue can be removed by a thorough clean with a solution composed of 3 tablespoons bleach, 1 tablespoon liquid dish detergent and 1 cup of water.
    Apply to the cooking surface with a sponge or plastic scrubbing pad. After cleaning, recondition the surface with a light wipe of cooking oil.
  9. Always observe the rules of sensible cooking. Never let foodstuff, or an empty non-stick pan overheat.

Salt&Pepper guarantees that each piece of the cookware is free from defects in material and workmanship under intended normal use. Salt&Pepper will, at its discretion, replace or repair any defective part or item for a period of 10 years. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accident, abuse or negligence. Scratches, stains, discoloration and damage caused by abuse or overheating are not covered by this warranty.
